Job Description
The Project Assistant will conduct research and development activities aligned with the project objectives at CSIR-CFTRI. The role requires collaboration with team members to achieve project goals in the field of biotechnology, specifically focusing on food and biomedical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D activities as per project requirements.
- Assist in data collection and analysis.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Support the project in achieving its objectives within the timeline.
- Any other duties assigned by the project supervisor.
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science, Zoology, Marine Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science and Technology, or Nutrition from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification/Experience: Master’s Degree in Fish Processing Technology, Food Science and Technology, Zoology, Marine Biotechnology, or Biochemistry with hands-on expertise in protein/peptide purification and biochemical analysis.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should not exceed 50 years of age as of the application deadline.
- Essential qualifications must be acquired before applying; results awaited candidates are not eligible.
- Experience will be counted post the date of acquiring the minimum educational qualifications.
- Previous engagement in CSIR projects should not exceed 6 years.
