Position Overview
The Intern will work closely with Project Leads to execute projects for stakeholders across Roche’s global affiliates. The role involves supporting projects in the areas of Business Research, Analytics, Data Science, and Technology. The selected candidate will be expected to understand the healthcare industry, business and mathematical concepts, and apply analytical and technical skills to solve real-world business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze competitor pipelines, drug mechanisms, and clinical trial updates to generate business insights.
- Monitor global healthcare market trends, including drug launches, pricing, and clinical trial progress using public and industry databases.
- Utilize Generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Large Language Models (LLMs), to summarize clinical trial reports, analyze company earnings calls, and support research activities.
- Track major global medical conferences and monitor competitor data releases.
- Monitor key industry events, including FDA approvals, breakthrough designations, and company mergers.
- Gain hands-on experience with industry research platforms such as Clarivate, AlphaSense, and EvaluatePharma.
- Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a structured and effective manner.
- Develop an understanding of the evolving healthcare marketplace.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and support the growth of the GATE team.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- B.Tech./B.E. in Biotechnology & Related specialisations
Experience: 0–1 year of experience in Analytics, Consulting, or Technology.
Required Skills
- Strong quantitative aptitude and logical thinking ability.
- Ability to search and analyze scientific literature to derive relevant insights.
- Ability to interpret data from sources such as ClinicalTrials.gov (CT.gov), PubMed, and similar databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Highly motivated, learning-oriented, and quality-focused approach.

- Working knowledge of Python
