Available Positions
1. Research Assistant – 38 (A)
- Key Responsibilities: Support vector construction, molecular characterization of transgenic events, and tissue culture and genetic transformation of crop plants. Experience in phenotypic data collection and analysis will be advantageous.
- Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Plant Science, Botany, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, or Genetics and Plant Breeding. Relevant research experience is preferred.
2. Research Associate– 38 (B)
- Key Responsibilities: Establish disease phenotypic assays for various crops and participate in genome editing project pipelines. Experience in molecular characterization of pathogens is required.
- Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Plant Pathology with 2-3 years of research experience in developing disease phenotyping assays and screening germplasm.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in plant molecular biology, tissue culture, and transformation.
- Proven track record in Plant Pathology, particularly in the seed industry.
- Willingness to work in open-field, greenhouse, and laboratory environments.
