Job Description
The candidate will work in the areas of molecular cloning, enzyme engineering, generation of mutants by site-directed/saturation mutagenesis, screening of mutants, protein purification, and biocatalysis.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent degrees in relevant fields from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates with a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following are also eligible:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Selection through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER, etc.
Desirable
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience (at least 6 months) in recombinant DNA technology (Molecular cloning, site-directed/saturation mutagenesis), screening of mutants of engineered enzymes, protein purification, and biocatalysis.
Consolidated Emoluments per Month: ₹37,000 + 27% HRA
