  • Position: Technician/Project Assistant (Project)
  • No. of Positions: One (1)
  • Project Title: Study of Neuronal regeneration using C. elegans
  • Funding: DBT Wellcome Trust India Alliance
  • PI: Prof. Anindya Ghosh Roy, Professor
  • Age Limit: Maximum 50 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications)
  • Tenure: Initially one year, may be extended based on performance review. The post is co-terminus with the project.
  • Accommodation: May be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to availability.

Qualification

  • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in any area of Biological Sciences or Biotechnology
  • Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Molecular Biology techniques involving DNA and proteins, Genetics, Widefield and Confocal Microscopy, good lab organization skills.
  • Pay: ₹36,000/- per month (consolidated, no other allowances applicable)
