Key Responsibilities
- Protocols: Direct development of statistical designs and analysis procedures for scientific protocols.
- Database Activities: Collaborate with data sciences and statistical programming to ensure data collection instruments meet project needs.
- Statistical Analyses: Propose novel statistical methodologies to improve study results.
- Reports and Publications: Ensure study results are scientifically sound and clearly presented.
- Project Team Involvement: Partner with clinical and regulatory teams to create development strategies.
- Training and Supervising: Train and mentor staff on statistical methodology and operations.
- Regulatory Activities: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for work processes.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures relevant to the statistics function.
Qualification
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Biostatistics or Statistics.
- At least 2+ years of industry experience for Ph.D. or 5+ years for M.S.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and resolve issues effectively.
- Highly motivated and capable of independent work.
- Experience in dermatology or oncology drug development is a plus.
Skills Required
- Demonstrated understanding of Phase I to Phase IV drug development.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience with statistical analysis software such as SAS and R.
- NDA/BLA experience with eCTD submission is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and quality.
