Role Overview

Eurofins Analytical Services (India Pvt. Ltd.), a part of the global Eurofins Scientific network, is seeking an Executive – Quality Assurance (QA) to support laboratory quality operations and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating laboratory testing, maintaining quality systems, investigating quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with regulatory and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform or coordinate laboratory testing, including microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, and applicable FSSAI regulations.
  • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and laboratory documentation.
  • Investigate product quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities.
  • Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address quality concerns.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support external regulatory and certification audits.
  • Train production personnel on food safety practices, hygiene standards, and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve quality management systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Tech./M.Tech.) in Food Technology or Food Engineering.

Preferred Competencies

  • Knowledge of food safety management systems, including HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, and FSSAI regulations.
  • Understanding of laboratory testing procedures for microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses.
  • Experience in quality documentation, audit support, and CAPA implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
