Role Overview
Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited is seeking a highly motivated Scientist – Bioanalytical R&D with 2–8 years of relevant industry experience. The role involves supporting biologics and biosimilar development programs through bioanalytical method development, qualification, characterization, and routine analytical testing. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in ELISA and Product-Related Impurity (PRI) assays, including Host Cell Protein (HCP), Host Cell DNA (HCD), and Protein A Leachate (PAL) testing. Experience with flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, and cell-based bioassays will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, qualify, and execute bioanalytical methods to support project requirements.
- Perform ELISA-based assays, including HCP, HCD, PAL, and other impurity or product characterization assays.
- Conduct product characterization studies and support method transfer and co-qualification activities.
- Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot analytical challenges, interpret results, and prepare technical reports.
- Support flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, and cell-based bioassays where applicable.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation while ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality systems, and laboratory safety standards.
- Assist in equipment qualification, calibration, and routine laboratory operational activities.
- Prepare project updates, technical reports, and scientific presentations, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Team Lead or Function Head.
