Job Description
The Project Technical Support role at NIT Rourkela involves working on an ICMR-funded project that integrates data with a 3-D bioprinted organoid-on-a-chip platform. The candidate will be responsible for experimental planning, execution, and maintaining project documentation while ensuring compliance with research protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Design and fabrication of organoid-on-chip development including materials synthesis and characterization.
- Collecting and entering both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with research protocols.
- Dissemination of work through publications and patent writing.
- Working on materials synthesis and characterization.
- Micro-fluidic device design, fabrication, and testing.
- Conducting experiments and evaluations related to biomedical devices.
- Collaboration with project team members for successful project execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Three Years Graduate degree in Biotechnology/biomedical/related field + three Years post qualification experience or PG (MS/MSc) in Biotechnology/biomedical/allied field.
- Engineering in First class Biotechnology/Biomedical – Four Years Graduate Degree + 3 years of Experience.
- Should satisfy the PhD admission eligibility criteria of NIT Rourkela.
- BTech/MTech in Biotechnology/Biomedical with GATE/GPAT/NET/any national level exams in relevant disciplines.
Required Skills
- Experience in materials synthesis and characterization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in biomedical device development and evaluation.
- Experience in computational fluid dynamics.
