Job Responsibilities
- Teaching degree and diploma students.
- Clinical/Lab/Field/Farm Duties.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Degree in Microbiology or Veterinary Microbiology or B.Sc/ B.Tech in Biotechnology/ Animal Biotechnology with a minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 65% marks.
- M.Sc./Ph.D in Microbiology or Veterinary Microbiology or Biotechnology with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0 or 65% marks.
- NET qualified
- Age Limit: 37 years (as on date of application), which is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC.

- Candidate not possessing a Master’s degree in the respective subject but possessing a Ph.D. degree in the respective subject shall be eligible for the post.
- Such a candidate must have obtained a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks at Master’s level in the allied field.
- Candidate should have cleared metric level Punjabi examination.
- The candidates without knowledge of Punjabi may be considered/appointed provided no suitably qualified/experienced candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available.
- For the candidate with a PhD degree with course work, as prescribed by the UGC regulation 2009, and having at least two full-length publication of NAAS rating > 4 on the last date of submission of application, the requirement of NET qualification will be exempted.
