Role Overview
The Intra-Operative Clinical Application Specialist is a customer-facing role responsible for demonstrating clinical products, delivering post-sales training, and driving market development through educational initiatives. The position involves close collaboration with sales and product teams to support business growth and enhance clinical adoption of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and support value-based selling of ultrasound solutions across specialties such as Neurosurgery, Urology, Hepato-Biliary, Colorectal, and Pelvic Floor
- Develop strong knowledge of product lines, sales territories, and market dynamics to effectively execute regional strategies
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define clinical strategies and identify training needs
- Deliver post-sales support including product installation and clinical training for healthcare professionals
- Conduct high-level product demonstrations and build strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders
- Execute clinical training programs for existing customers, including periodic sessions for operating room (OR) staff
- Monitor system usage and maintain accurate training and performance records
- Identify and drive educational initiatives such as workshops, courses, exhibitions, and roadshows
- Develop and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within assigned regions
- Create training materials in compliance with company guidelines
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with clinical and technical expertise, capable of engaging healthcare professionals and supporting product adoption in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related Science field
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in ultrasound or surgical care environments
Experience in medical imaging or clinical application support is preferred
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and clinical imaging applications
- Technical and/or clinical experience in ultrasound systems (certification preferred)
- Ability to plan, document, market, and execute training programs effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight travel based on business needs
