Job Description
The Young Professional will engage in various tasks related to life science research jobs, including planning and conducting experiments, developing processing technologies, and compiling data for analysis. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure data integrity and compliance with laboratory protocols. The selected candidate will also be responsible for generating reports and responding to information queries, contributing to the overall research objectives of NIFTEM.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and conducting experimentations and development of processing technologies.
- Compiling and verifying accuracy of source data for computer entry.
- Reviewing data for deficiencies and correcting any incompatibilities.
- Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents.
- Applying data program techniques and procedures.
- Generating reports and performing backup operations.
- Conducting data analysis using advanced software and techniques.
- Ensuring proper use of lab equipment and addressing malfunctions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree (3/4/5 years) or Master’s Degree with 60% in Process and Food Technology, Food Technology Management, Food Science, Food & Nutrition, or a relevant field.
- Maximum age of 30 years (relaxation of 5 years for women/SC/ST/OBC/differently abled as per Government rules).
Required Skills
- Research experience in relevant fields.
- Good communication skills.
- NET JRF qualified.
