- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Location: New Delhi, India
- Project Title: Deciphering Inositol polyphosphate roles as crosstalk modulators of (a)biotic stress adaptation and biotechnological application of underlying signaling routes to improve defense response and nutritional uptake in plants.
- Tenure: The position is temporary and contingent upon funding availability from DBT, lasting until July 2027 or until the project concludes, whichever comes first. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential: Candidates must hold an MSc (First Division) in Plant Biotechnology or related areas. CSIR-NET qualification is mandatory, along with practical experience in maintaining plants, PCR, gene cloning, and protein purification techniques.
- Desirable: Experience in bacterial culturing and creating transgenic plants is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in plant research and possess excellent skills in maintaining plants under growth chamber conditions.
Fellowship: Rs. 37,000 + (HRA, as per rules)
