Job Description
The Research Associate will work in core areas of Food Science, including food processing, food regulation, food quality, and food safety. The role involves contributing to food adulteration awareness initiatives, supporting food-processing policies, and addressing issues related to ultra-processed foods. The candidate will also assist in capacity-building activities and prepare policy or scheme drafts related to Food Science and food processing under the guidance of the concerned authority.

- Support food-processing policies and ultra-processed food-related issues.
- Assist in capacity-building activities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: PhD in Food Technology, Food Technology & Management, Food and Allied Sciences, including Basic Sciences relevant to Food Science.
- Experience: Minimum one (01) year in food processing, food regulation, and/or food quality.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
- Age relaxation of 5 years for Women/SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled candidates as per Government of India rules.
Desirable Qualifications
- Expertise or exposure in the Nutraceutical sector.
- Experience in food safety and food adulteration awareness initiatives.
- Understanding of food-processing policies and ultra-processed foods issues.
- Experience in capacity building and preparing policy or scheme drafts.

Contract Duration
