Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Work under the research project “Immune responses associated with severe dengue infection.”
• Contribute to research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
• Perform scientific activities and research services related to the project.
• Carry out laboratory work associated with infectious disease research and biotechnology.

Qualifications

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent with four years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations and scientific activities and services.
• OR
• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Biological Sciences) from a recognised university or equivalent with two years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations and scientific activities and services.
• OR
• Doctoral Degree in Life Science / Bio-Engineering / Biotechnology from a recognised University or equivalent with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication indexed in a public database such as PubMed or SCOPUS.

Experience

Essential

Experience in Research & Development in industrial or academic institutions or Scientific & Technology organisations, as applicable to the qualification.

Age Limit

Tenure

The appointment is initially for six months and is renewable based on satisfactory performance. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
