  • Position Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
  • Project Title: “Stereochemically Engineered Peptide Vectors for Targeted Delivery of Cytoskeleton Modulating Drugs in Ovarian Cancer”
  • Funded by: Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Govt. of Gujarat at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU).
  • Principal Investigator: Dr. Gaurav Jerath
  • Tenure: The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.
  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years on the closing date of the advertisement.

Eligibility

  • Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc./ M.Tech or equivalent in Biotechnology and allied areas with a minimum of 55% marks in the preceding qualification.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Candidates who have qualified the CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE/National-level exams will be preferred.
    • Experience/interests in Peptide/Organic Synthesis and Biophysical Characterization of Peptides.
    • Hands-on Experience in Mammalian Cell Culture.
    • Candidates with good communication skills.

Fellowship

  • Rs. 36,000/- per month, including HRA (CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE, etc., or national-level exam qualified candidates) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines. OR
  • Rs. 23,213/- fixed per month (For candidates who have not qualified for the national-level examinations, such as CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE, etc.) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.
