Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for sterile pharmaceutical, biologic, and biosimilar products.
- Support contract manufacturing organizations with technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and production challenges.
- Lead technical due diligence activities for new products and acquisitions.
- Manage site transfers, material source changes, reformulations, and process improvement projects.
- Author, review, and approve technical documentation.
- Support lifecycle management activities for commercial and development products.
- Participate in health authority inspections and cross-functional discussions.
- Provide technical inputs related to manufacturing compliance and licensing requirements.
- Support batch manufacturing and release decision-making processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and technical evaluations.
- Mentor and train internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Biotechnology, or other technically relevant graduate-level qualification
Skills Required
- Significant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries across drug substance/drug product development, technology transfer, manufacturing, or lifecycle management, preferably for regulated markets.
- Strong expertise in biologics, biosimilars, sterile product development, commercial manufacturing, GMP compliance, process validation, and batch release activities.
- Experience managing complex technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing regulatory documents, including eCTD Module 3, Quality Overall Summaries (QOS), and technical reports.
- Sound understanding of global regulatory requirements and quality standards for biologics.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Adaptable, solution-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
