- DBT Multi-institutional project: “Biotechnological interventions for revitalizing sustainable large cardamom (Amomum subulatum Roxb.) cultivation”
- BMGF-Gates Foundation-funded project: “Development of Climate resilient chickpea and brassica by gene editing”
- PI: Dr. Debasis Chattopadhya, Director, BRIC-NIPGR
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics or a related field
- Alternatively, M.Tech in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with three years of research experience and a relevant research publication
- Fulfillment of guidelines as per DST-OM No: DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023
Preferred Experience
- Research experience in computational biology, genome assembly and annotation, GWAS analysis
- At least one first-author research paper with more than three impact factors in SCI journals
- Knowledge of Python, R, and Linux operating system is desirable
Emoluments
₹ 58,000/- per month plus 27% HRA
Position Details
The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Appointments are for one year or till project completion, whichever is earlier, and can be extended based on performance.
