THSTI houses specialized centers for maternal and child health, infectious diseases, immunology, drug discovery, computational biology, diagnostics, and clinical research.

- Position Title: Project Research Scientist-II

- Project: Placenta Health Project – Adaptive Dose Finding Platform in India
- PI: Dr. Nitya Wadhwa
- Co-PI: Dr. Dinesh Mahajan
- Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 67,000/- plus HRA
- Age Limit: 40 years
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and optimizing Lateral Flow Assays (LFA) for diagnostic and analytical applications.
- Maintaining accurate experimental records and preparing technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing research and development projects.
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety standards and quality control procedures.
Essential Qualification
Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree, in Life Sciences from a recognized university with atleast three (3) years’ of post-qualification experience in a research lab. OR Ph.D. in Life Sciences from a recognized university.
Desirable
- Knowledge of establishing, maintaining, and characterizing placental organoid cultures for
disease modelling and therapeutic research. - Strong understanding of molecular and cellular biology techniques
