Key Responsibilities
Project Associate-I
- Assist in field and laboratory components of the project.
- Collection and documentation of biological samples.
- DNA extraction and SNP genotyping.
- Genomic data analysis.
- Preparation of reports and manuscripts.

- Coordination with forest department officials and collaborating institutions.
- Fieldwork in adjoining forest landscapes of Madhya Pradesh.
Project Assistant / Field Assistant
- Support wildlife monitoring activities.
- Assist in DNA extraction, PCR and amplification.
- Laboratory support and sample processing.
- Data handling and documentation.
- Assist in GIS and conservation biology-related activities.

Qualifications
Project Associate-I
Essential Qualification
- Master’s degree in Natural Sciences (Zoology / Wildlife Science / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biological Sciences) or a relevant degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
- OR
- A four-year Bachelor’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences relevant to the project position.
Project Assistant / Field Assistant
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university.
Preference
Candidates with a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Forensic Sciences will be given preference.
