Key Responsibilities
- Work under the ANRF-funded research project on genome mining and characterization of piperine biosynthetic genes.
- Assist in research activities related to fungal endophytes of Piper longum.
- Support laboratory-based experiments and project-related documentation.
- Contribute to sustainable production research of phytochemicals.
- Perform duties assigned by the Principal Investigator and project team.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or allied branch of Life Sciences or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Botany / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or allied branch of Life Sciences or equivalent with First Class at the qualifying examination.
- GATE / NET / SLET qualification.
Experience

- Laboratory experience in the field of Microbiology.
- Laboratory experience in Molecular Biology.
Skills Needed
- Knowledge of Microbiology techniques.
