- Project Title: Regulation of Seed Oil Biosynthesis by Light Signaling in Brassicaceae
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Yadukrishnan P, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
- Project Tenure: 2 Years + Third year onwards as SRF after evaluation (Total 3 Years)
- Age Limit: 28 years as of the date of the interview. Age relaxation is allowed as per government rule.
Qualification
- First class Master’s Degree in any branch of Life Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent + GATE/NET/GPAT qualification.
- Prior research experience in plant molecular biology and familiarity with analytical techniques such as Gas Chromatography will be an added advantage.
Fellowship/Stipend
- Rs. 37,000/- per month as JRF for NET/GATE Candidates
- Rs. 30,000/- per month as Project Associate-I for Non Net/GATE Candidates
Registration for PhD
Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani, subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.
