Role Overview
The Horticulturist will be responsible for managing the procurement and supply of plants, seeds, fertilizers, and gardening materials. The role focuses on vendor management, quality control, inventory planning, and ensuring uninterrupted availability of horticultural products to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure plants, seeds, fertilizers, and gardening supplies based on business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with reliable nurseries and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Ensure quality standards for all incoming horticultural products.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for inventory planning and replenishment.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
- Maintain procurement records, invoices, and supplier documentation.
- Conduct market research to identify new products, suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in:

Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- Horticulture operations
- Procurement and sourcing
- Nursery management
