Qualification
- Essential Qualification: Integrated BS-MS in Biological sciences from a recognized University or equivalent
- Desirable / Job Description: Hands-on experience in protein biochemistry, protein purification, SDS PAGE, western blot.

General Terms and Conditions
- Upper age limit shall be reckoned as of the date of the interview.
- Experience shall be counted after obtaining the minimum prescribed qualification.
- Candidates possessing essential qualification in the required area/ discipline only should apply, others are not eligible. Result awaited candidates are not eligible.
- The number of positions may be increased, decreased, or the recruitment process may be cancelled at any stage at the discretion of the Director, CSIR-CCMB.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per CSIR/Government of India guidelines, and age will be calculated as on the last date of online application submission.
- Candidates pursuing a degree or awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.
- Failure to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage of recruitment.
- Relevant experience will be counted only after acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualification.
- Selection of candidates will be based on interview performance.
- A waitlist panel may be maintained for one year and may be used to fill vacancies arising due to non-joining, resignation, or future project requirements.
- The appointment is purely temporary and project-based, subject to availability of funds, performance, and project requirements.
- The engagement will automatically end upon completion of the project and does not confer any right to permanent employment in CSIR-CCMB.
- Project staff are entitled to one day of leave for every completed month of service.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the position.
- Selected candidates are required to work during institute working hours and may be asked to work on weekends, holidays, or beyond regular hours if required.
- Income tax and other applicable taxes will be deducted at source as per government rules.
- All data, records, and deliverables generated during the project will remain the property of CSIR-CCMB and cannot be shared without prior written permission.
- Project personnel must hand over all project-related records and documents before completion or termination of the assignment.
- The institute may terminate the engagement by giving one month’s notice, and employees may also resign by serving one month’s notice or stipend in lieu thereof.
- Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility requirements before applying, as providing incorrect or misleading information may result in rejection or termination at any stage.
