Key Responsibilities
- Work on the research project titled “Enzymatic modification of guar meal proteins for applications in human nutrition and cosmeceuticals: Proteomics approach and pre-clinical validation.”
- Conduct research involving proteins, bioactive peptides, protein hydrolysis, and proteomics.
- Perform laboratory and pre-clinical validation studies.
- Carry out bioinformatics, in-silico analysis, and molecular docking studies.
- Utilize molecular biology and cell biology techniques including qRT-PCR, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, and ELISA.
- Participate in cell culture work and advanced in vivo/ex vivo studies.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Animal Biochemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Food Science & Technology, Pharmacology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, OR Allied disciplines.
- NET/GATE qualified candidates with a prior publication record in relevant areas may be given preference.
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years.
- Relaxation of 5 years for Women/SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled candidates as per Government of India rules.
Experience
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Research experience in Proteins, Bioactive Peptides, Protein Hydrolysis, and Bioinformatics.
- Strong expertise in laboratory animal experimentation.
- Experience in advanced in vivo/ex vivo studies.
- Experience in Proteomics, In-silico Analysis, and Molecular Docking.
