Job Details
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Fellowship: ₹37,000.00 per month + 20% HRA
- Project Title: Investigating the crosstalk between polyamines, S-adenosylmethionine (SAM), and homocysteine metabolism in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS): emphasis on therapeutic potential of polyamines in PCOS management
- Project Code: P-07/1360
- Project Duration: Three years
- Nature of Position: Temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the ANRF-sponsored project titled “Investigating the crosstalk between polyamines, S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) and homocysteine metabolism in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS): emphasis on therapeutic potential of polyamines in PCOS management.”
- Participate in research activities related to PCOS and metabolic pathways.
- Assist in studies involving polyamines, SAM, and homocysteine metabolism.
- Contribute to project objectives under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Zoology/Biochemistry/Life Science/Biotechnology with at least 55% marks or above from a recognized University.
- Must have qualified for NET/GATE.
Experience
Desirable Qualifications
- Candidates with prior experience in:
- Reproductive endocrinology and biochemistry.
- Molecular biology techniques.
- Immunological techniques.
- Animal handling.
