Role Overview
The QA Validation Engineer is responsible for leading and executing validation programs to ensure product quality across manufacturing operations. This role focuses on validating equipment, processes, and systems to ensure consistent performance, regulatory compliance, and delivery of high-quality beverage products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform validation of equipment, utilities, facilities, processes, and automation systems used in beverage manufacturing
- Coordinate with co-packers and equipment contractors to ensure systems perform as intended
- Prepare validation master plans with minimal supervision
- Develop and execute Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification (IOPQ) protocols
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports
- Manage validation projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams including New Product Development, Engineering, Quality Control, Operations, and Innovation
- Develop validation strategies for new packaging systems, kitting processes, and manufacturing technologies
- Ensure adherence to validation schedules and compliance standards
- Perform additional duties as required
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or a related technical field (preferred)
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in validation or quality assurance within the food or dietary supplement industry
- Experience in verification planning and test execution
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong understanding of validation principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including 21 CFR Parts 110, 111, and 117
- Familiarity with ICH Q2 guidelines
- Experience in auditing contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers (preferred)
Certifications (Preferred)
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification
