Team Overview – Antibody Development Team
The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and development of antibodies with an emphasis on quality, specificity, and performance. Core activities include antibody design, purification, conjugation, and testing across multiple immunoassay platforms, supporting advanced product development.
Role Overview
The Scientist I – Molecular Biology will be an integral part of the antibody development team, contributing to recombinant antibody development using molecular, protein, and cell biology techniques. The role involves experimental execution, data analysis, and collaboration within a research-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on recombinant antibody development projects
- Plan and execute experiments to meet program objectives
- Maintain accurate and timely laboratory records and data sheets
- Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on antibody development advancements
- Compile, analyze, and present data in written and oral formats
- Participate actively in team meetings and discussions
- Ensure adherence to timelines, protocols, and quality standards
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) with 0–4 years of experience OR
- PhD in Life Sciences (submitted within the last one year)
Relevant Fields: Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
Technical Skills & Experience
- Molecular biology techniques: PCR, primer/vector design, cloning, DNA/RNA extraction and analysis
- Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), including library preparation and sequencing platforms
- Bioinformatics analysis and pipeline setup (Python or R knowledge is an advantage)
- Antibody sequencing experience (preferred)
- Immunoassays: ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry
- Understanding of antibody development platforms (desirable)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of statistical tools/software (e.g., Prism)
