1. YP-II – 01 Post
- Project: AINP Biotech Crops (Brinjal and Tomato)
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture [M.Sc. (Ag.) (Plant Biotechnology)/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences with 4 years Bachelor’s degree or
Candidates having Post-graduate degree in above subjects with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 02 years Master’s degree. - Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques and Practical knowledge of plant tissue culture.
- Emoluments: Rs. 42000/- (consolidated)
2. RA – 01 Post
- Project: Enabling climate resilience and ensuring food & crops
- Essential Qualification: Doctoral degree in Agriculture [Ph.D. (Ag.) (Biotechnology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/Molecular Biology)
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques, genome editing and Practical knowledge of plant tissue culture
- Emoluments: Rs. 67000/-+ HRA as applicable
3. SRF – 01 Post
- Project: Enabling climate resilience and ensuring food & crops
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture [M.Sc. (Ag.) (Plant Biotechnology)/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Genetics Plant Breeding with 4 years Bachelor’s degree or Candidates having Post-graduate degree in above subjects with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 02 years
Master’s degree should have NET qualifications. - Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques and Practical knowledge of plant tissue culture
- Emoluments: Rs. 37000/-+ HRA as applicable
4. YP II – 03 Posts
- Project: Enabling climate resilience and ensuring food & crops
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Ag) (Plant Biotechnology)/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Genetics Plant Breeding/ Plant Physiology
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques, and Practical

- Project: Targeted editing of host susceptibility factors to engineer in tomato
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture [M.Sc. (Ag.) (Plant Biotechnology)/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences with 4 years Bachelor’s degree or
Candidates having Post-graduate degree in above subjects with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 02 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications. - Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques, and Practical

6. JRF – 01 Post
- Project: DBT Project
- Essential Qualification (A):
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Plant Pathology
- Two years of Post-Masters experience in the R&D organizations/Academic Institutions on microbial research/ bio formulation development/ molecular biology ogy as evident from the proven records.
- NET (UGC-CSIR NET including Lecturership OR GATE)
- Essential Qualification (B):
Masters degree in the above subjects and 2 years of experience (as in 1 and 2 above) but lack of NET (UGC-CSIR NET including Lecturership OR GATE) - Emoluments: (A) Rs. 35000/ +18% HRA (for 2 years) OR (B) Rs. 28000/-+ 18% HRA
Qualifications:
Various essential and desirable qualifications include Master’s or Doctoral degrees in Agriculture and related fields, experience in molecular biology techniques, and practical knowledge of plant tissue culture.
