Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate raw material availability, monitor consumption, and maintain inventory records
- Achieve daily/shift production targets while operating the plant as per SOPs and defined quality parameters
- Monitor and record process parameters, efficiency, and resource utilization; identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze process/quality data, adjust operating parameters, and troubleshoot breakdowns with maintenance coordination
- Support maintenance during shutdowns and coordinate with utilities for smooth plant operations
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance in plant areas including cooling tower and ETP operations
- Ensure effluent treatment, gas generation, and adherence to environmental norms (RSPCB)
- Monitor product quality (sensory and analytical), report deviations, and take corrective actions
- Prepare MIS, maintain SAP and excise records, and ensure timely reporting and regulatory submissions
- Ensure EHS compliance, report incidents, participate in audits, and maintain environmental and safety standards
Qualification
MSc/ BE /B Tech Food Technology, Alcohol Technology with 2-5 years of relevant experience in process industries like Alco-Bev, Dairy, Pharma, FMCG
Skills Required
- Knowledge of process industries (FMCG / Pharma / Dairy / Alco-Bev)
- Understanding of quality and EHS norms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Good coordination and communication skills
