JOB DESCRIPTION

• Microbial analysis of water.
• Microbial testing of samples.
• Environmental Monitoring.
• Maintenance of microbial cultures.
• Tests related to microbial analysis.
• Procurement of media and consumables.
• Maintaining GLP Standards in Lab.
• Maintain hygienic condition in Microbiology lab.
• Prepare Trend chart and summary of water analysis and environment monitoring.
• Ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment’s & attend EHS training & send waste to concerned person & comply EHS requirements.
• Timely communication with project group leaders and scientist to facilitate project progress with respect to microbial activities.
• Effective communication with purchase, accounts and engineering department for the required support.
• Perform raw material sampling and related documents.
• Coordination with external agencies and suppliers for timely supply of resources like chemicals glassware, microbiological media and spares etc.
• Perform Qualifications, calibration activities etc.
• Coordination with various suppliers of equipment for AMC, Qualifications, calibration activities etc.
• Coordination with clients to provide documents / updates for projects involving microbial activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.sc / M.sc Microbiology
