Nature & Period of Post: Appointment as JRF is short-term for a period of one year with a possibility of extension for one more year. The Extension is subjected to satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualification For TIFR Job:
- M.Sc. in Biology with a minimum of 60% marks. OR B.E./ B.Tech. in Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% marks.
- GATE or NET qualification is called for at the time of joining. If you have actually given either of these exams and the results are awaited, then you can apply.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in mammalian cell culture, MTT assay, flow cytometry, western blotting.
Job Requirement:
a. Mammalian cell culture as well as in vitro anticancer studies in cultured cells.
b. Cell biology assays: Flowcytometry, Confocal imaging, Western blotting etc.
c. Evaluation of metabolic stabilities of drugs
