Upper Age Limit: The Upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable up to 3years for OBC applicants; 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates) All points being equal, SC/ST applicants will be favoured based on GOI rules.
Duration: The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications for BHU Job: The candidates ought to be MSc Botany/ Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/ Microbiology/ Life Science with minimal 55% marks as well as have to have qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/national level exams conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualifications: The applicant needs to have practical knowledge in the area of microbiology, molecular biology as well as bioinformatics.
