Qualification:
Candidates with Postgraduate degree in Biological Sciences or Graduate/ Postgraduate degree in Professional course chosen through any one of the following,
a. Scholars that are chosen through CSIR-UGC NET (such as lectureship) and GATE
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Fellowship: According to standards
Age: 30 years as on date of Walk-in-interview, age relaxation to entitled categories according to rules.

If none found suitable under JRF category, applicants may be considered for PA.
The above position is only temporary for a period of one year or conclusion of the project whichever is earlier but strictly co-terminus together with the project and not leading to any PhD degree in NISER. It might, consequently, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/absorption against any NISER post.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates should appear for a walk-in-interview scheduled to be held on 09.09.2019 at about 11.30 AM in School of Biological Sciences, NISER. They ought to submit their resume duly filled in all respect in the prescribed proforma (given in pages 2-3 of this document) along with copies of certificates at the time of the interview with current passport size photograph pasted on it. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview for verification. All candidates are asked to reach 1 hour prior to the scheduled time. The scanned copy of this application ought to be sent positively by email to [email protected] together with the heading”Application for the post of JRF/PA in BL1609″ by 5 pm on September 3rd, 2019 to be considered for an interview.
