MUNSHI RAM JAIN CANCER SCHOLAR AWARD
Cancer Research Foundation, India (CRFI) has instituted “Munshi Ram Jain Cancer Scholar Award” Based on PhD work of researchers. The award constitutes a citation, certification, cash prize, as well as and fro Economy air travel+stay. The application submission for 2019 editions is currently OPEN. Application format (attached herewith) along with short Synopsis of this research work and a scanned copy of PhD certification Must be transmitted by email to [email protected] before 31st December 2018 (Monday) 3 PM.
These criteria are required:
A. The Scholar should have finished a PhD within the last five years (Not sooner than (December’2013)
B. There should be no conflict of interest.
C. * A part of PhD research (Not necessarily the Entire thesis) must be published in a Reputed journal indexed with SCI®
The synopsis has to be structured as follows (Maximum 500
words):1. Material and Methods
2. Sample Size
3. Compliance with ethical standards
4. Conclusion and background of this PhD work/research (Focus Has to Be potential Societal benefits of the research)
Applications and synopsis will be screened for the fulfilment of standards and then blinded synopsis will be reviewed by an expert committee constituted by the Scientific Advisory Committee of CRFI.

- The announcement of Award: 23.01.2019
- Award Ceremony (Tentative): 2nd Week of February 2019 to be held at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati
