Description:
PURPOSE
- Provide basic and a few comprehensive data management expertise to information management staff to provide effective, quality
- Data management products which fulfill client requirements. May additionally undertake team leadership actions under the oversight of the Data Operations Coordinator, Data Team Lead, or Functional Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform as a Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) for a single protocol using less then 5 operations personnel (excludes DE) or a leadership function in a certain field or procedure on a huge study with guidance.
- Serve in the Function of backup into some Data Operations Coordinator or Data Team Guide.
- Conduct information inspection.
- Write and solve data clarifications.
- Lead database audit staff.
- Create and test databases and edit specifications.
- Know and comply with center operating procedures and working instructions.
- Meet goals as assigned.
- Build and maintain excellent communications and working relationships with CDM team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Medical terminology exposure
- Outstanding organizational, communication, leadership and computer skills
- Ability to exercise great attention to detail
- Ability to act independently and with certainty Needed to resolving problems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and customers
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree, or educational equivalence, in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or related discipline, or nursing Eligibility; or equivalent combination of education, training and expertise
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive utilization of phone and face-to-face communicating requiring precise perception of language
- Extensive use of keyboard requiring rapid movement of fingers
- Routine sitting for extended periods of time
