Applications are invited for the post of PROJECT ASSISTANTSHIP to work in the DST funded project entitled “Design and Development of Peptide Based Inhibitors” at the CAS in Crystallography and Biophysics, University of Madras, Guindy campus, Chennai-600025. The details are as follows:

Project Title : “Design and Development of Peptide Based Inhibitors”
Funding Body : DST
Tenure : 18 months
Consolidated Stipend: Rs. 14000/- P.M (consolidated)
Qualifications :
- Essential – Post Graduate Degree in Biological Science/M.Sc. Chemistry with First Class from a Recognized University.
- Desirable – Experience in the field of peptide chemistry, protein-protein interaction. Protein expression and enzyme inhibition

Candidates need to produce original certificates and mark sheets for verification at the time of interview. The above post is purely temporary and can be terminated with one-month notice. The terms and the condition of the appointment shall be governed in accordance with the University of Madras.
