NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the position of
“Research Manager (Project)” in DeitY funded project entitled “National Programme on
Perception Engg.- Phase II for Technology development for early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease from visuospatial perception profile using functional magnetic resonance imaging”
Applications are invited for the position of Research Manager (Project) in the laboratory of Prof. Pravat K. Mandal at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, India. The primary scientific interest of the lab is to identify early in vivo biomarkers for neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer’s disease. Lab is mainly specialized to use multi-modal neuroimaging techniques, i.e. magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), functional MRI (fMRI), and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and MEG data to investigate the associated structural, functional, and neurochemical brain alterations, respectively.

Emoluments : Rs 30,000/- p.m. (consolidated) (No other allowances are applicable).
Essential qualification : Bachelor in science/commerce. Minimum 60% marks from matriculation onwards
Desirable qualifications / Experience :
- Master degree in science or commerce is preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience is preferred.
- Experience in scientific documentation.
- Should be working in a team
Mandatory requirement : Statement of purpose (SOP) (minimum 500 words) indicating your interests/expertise. Candidate should indicate
how his/her experience/expertise will help ongoing research activities of the Neuroimaging and Neurospectroscopy laboratory. Candidate without SOP will not be shortlisted.Age Limit : The upper age limit shall be 35 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.

Job Responsibilities : The candidate will help to maintain record and well versed with excel/word and budget preparation for the lab. Should be involved in calling people in various imaging studies. Preparing report to the PI in regular basis.
