Research Vacancy in Punjab in The Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) was established on 29 December 1989 at the PAU Campus, Ludhiana, Punjab, India as a nodal institute to undertake lead researches in the area of the post-harvest engineering and technology appropriate to agricultural production catchment and agro-industries.

Project : Pollution Control of Rice Husk Fly Ash by its effective utilization for novel product development.
Qualification : Master degree in Agricultural Process Engineering/Food Technology / Food 
Science & Technology / Biochemistry / Microbiology/Agricultural Chemistry/ LPT/LPM/ Biotechnology/ allied field with 4 years / 5 years bachelor’s degree. Candidate having post graduate degree in basic sciences with’ – 3 years bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification. Exposure to conducting basic studies on antimicrobial and biochemical parameters, statistical data analyses .

Salary : Rs. 25000 + HRA

Terms and Conditions:
i) The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.
ii) There is no provision for absorption/ re-employment in ICAR/ CIPHET/ after completion of time bound project.
iii) Place of work will be ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana.
iv) No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview
v) The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work carried out during post graduation / Ph.D. along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview.
vi) No objection certificate from the employer in case he / she is employed elsewhere.
vii) Experience certificate in original (if any)
