Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title: Molecular Mechanisms of rice sirtuin activity under oxidative stress conditions

Funding Agency: Department of Science & Technology (DST)

Principle Investigator: Dr. Sanghamitra Dey

Tenure: 3 years, depending on fund and satisfactory research progress

Eligibility: M.Sc . in any branch of life Sciences with minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree obtained from an UGC affiliated college or recognized University. NET/GATE qualification preferred.

Desirable Qualification : Research experience in Molecular biology and Protein Biochemistry, some experience in handling plants

Salary: Rs. 25,000 plus HRA for the first two years and Rs. 28,000 plus HRA for the third year.
