Spices Board was constituted on 26th February 1987 under the Spices Board Act 1986 (No. 10 of 1986) with the merger of the erstwhile Cardamom Board (1968) and Spices Export Promotion Council (1960). Spices Board is one of the five Commodity Boards functioning under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It is an autonomous body responsible for the export promotion of the 52 scheduled spices and development of Cardamom (Small & Large).

  • Trainee Analyst(Chemistry) – 12,
  • Trainee Analyst(Microbiology) – 2,

Location: Quality Evaluation Laboratory of the Spices Board, Mumbai

Tenure: 1 year

Eligibility:

Trainee Analyst(Chemistry): M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Food Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/Food Technology.

Trainee Analyst(Microbiology): M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Food Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology.

Salary: Rs.15,000/- p.m.

Eligible SC/ST candidates may appear for a written test cum interview along with resume, recent passport size photo, original certificates and one set of attested copies of certificates (Proof for age, education, caste certificate and experience if any)on the prescribed date in the office.
