The Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER Chandigarh, invites applications for the temporary position under the multicentric ICMR-CAR project entitled “Investigative Centre of Advanced Research in Endotypes of T1D (I-CARE-T1D): A National Referral Centre for Research in T1D” under the guidance of Dr. Naresh Sachdeva, Professor, Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

  • Post Name: Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical)

  • Project: ICMR-CAR Project – I-CARE-T1D
  • Salary: ₹78,000/- per month + HRA (As per ICMR Rules)
  • Upper Age Limit: 45 years (on the date of interview)

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical) under the ICMR-funded multicentric research project.
  • Participate in research activities related to the I-CARE-T1D project at the Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess either of the following qualifications:

Essential Qualification 

  • First Class Postgraduate degree in:
    • Biotechnology
    • Microbiology
    • Immunology
    • Biochemistry
    • Including integrated PG degrees
  • With 5 years of post-qualification experience
  • OR PhD + 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Second Class Postgraduate degree in:
    • Biotechnology
    • Microbiology
    • Immunology
    • Biochemistry
    • Including integrated PG degrees
  • With a PhD and 3 years post-qualification experience.

Experience Required

  • Five years post-qualification experience with a First Class Postgraduate degree.
  • OR PhD with two years post-qualification experience.
  • OR Second Class Postgraduate degree with a PhD and three years post-qualification experience.
