Structure-Based Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of LptA–LptC Lipopolysaccharide Transporter Interface Inhibitors for Combating Multidrug-Resistant Gram-Negative Infections
Project Details
- Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)
- Number of Posts: 01
- Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + HRA (as per applicable rules)
- Tenure: 2 Years (May be extended by one additional year based on satisfactory performance)
- Age Limit: Upper age limit of 30 years as on the last date of application (Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules)
- Last Date to Apply: 20 July 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the ANRF-funded research project titled “Structure-Based Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of LptA–LptC Lipopolysaccharide Transporter Interface Inhibitors for Combating Multidrug-Resistant Gram-Negative Infections.”
- Participate in research activities under the guidance of the project investigators.
- Contribute to computational drug discovery and biological evaluation related to multidrug-resistant Gram-negative infections.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Master’s degree in Biology (BSMS/M.Sc./MS, etc.)
- Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.Pharm/PharmD, etc.)
- Or any other relevant discipline.
- A valid NET/GATE or equivalent national-level qualification.
Experience
Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in:
- Computational drug discovery
- Molecular docking
- Virtual screening
- Pharmacophore modelling
- QSAR
