Key Responsibilities
- Author and execute test cases and testing scripts.
- Validate laboratory instrument integrations.
- Perform system-to-system and instrument-to-system testing.
- Support SDLC testing activities.
- Validate data exchange and transformation workflows.
- Identify, document, and manage defects.
- Support validation documentation and compliance activities.
- Review requirements and system designs for testability.
- Validate API-based, file-based, and OPC-UA integrations.
- Ensure compliance with Computer System Assurance (CSA) principles.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
Degree in life science (e.g., microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology), or engineering discipline
Skills Required
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical quality, laboratory, or manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience in test design, execution, defect management, and validation of laboratory instrumentation systems.
- Good understanding of computerized systems, SDLC, qualification processes, and Computer System Assurance (CSA).
- In-depth knowledge of data integrity requirements, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11.
- Experience validating instrument data flows, system integrations, APIs, and data standardization concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with laboratory instruments and digital laboratory systems.
- Familiarity with validation tools such as Kneat eVal, X-Ray, TOSCA, or Robot Framework.
- Knowledge of integration platforms and modern data integration approaches is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional global teams.
- CSQE certification and interest in digital transformation initiatives are advantageous.
