CSIR-NCL Careers 2026 – Project Associate Jobs Overview

CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, has invited online applications for Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II positions under the project “Phenome India-CSIR Health Cohort Knowledgebase.” These Life Sciences Jobs are offered on a purely temporary basis under a sponsored research project. Key Responsibilities

Project Associate-I

  • Work on mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics using clinical samples.
  • Travel for collection of phenome data of participants.

Project Associate-II

  • Work on mass spectrometry-based targeted quantification of proteins and metabolites.
  • Travel to various CSIR laboratories to collect Phenome data and health parameters of participants.

Qualifications

Project Associate-I

  • Master/Integrated Masters in Natural, Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc, Animal Sciences,
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine from a recognized University,
  • OR equivalent qualification recognized by the concerned authority.

Project Associate-II

  • Master/Integrated Master’s in Natural, Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc, Animal Sciences,
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine with two years of Research & Development experience in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations,
  • OR Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University.

Experience

Project Associate-I

Desirable Experience

  • Working experience in proteomics, metabolomics and clinical studies.

Project Associate-II

Desirable Experience

  • Master’s in any branch of Life Sciences with JRF/NET/GATE qualification.
  • Minimum two years of research experience.
  • Experience in targeted mass spectrometry of proteins and metabolites.

  • ₹28,000 + HRA (Others)
