Job Details:

  • Position: Junior Research Fellow (one post)
  • Emoluments: ₹37,000/- per month plus 27% HRA

  • Desirable:
    • Candidates should have completed their M.Sc. dissertation related to Plant Sciences, Plant Molecular Biology, or Plant Biotechnology.
    • Preference will be given to university rank holders with at least one first-author publication.
    • Experience in plant physiology, plant molecular biology, and/or plant biotechnology, along with computational skills, is preferred.
  • Duration: The initial appointment will be for one year or until the project tenure, whichever is earlier. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
  • Reservation: Reservation of posts will be as per Government of India norms.

Job Description

The Junior Research Fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Jayendra Pandey on the MK-BHAN Fellowship project. This Govt Life Science Research Job focuses on identifying and exploiting novel physiological attributes and genetic regulation of wild rice to improve crop performance under abiotic stress. The fellow will engage in research activities, data collection, and analysis related to the project objectives.
