Job Description
This Life Science Research Job involves working in the Biodiversity and Palaeobiology (Fungi) Group on a project investigating fungal symbiont metabolites for their potential role as biocontrol agents against muscardine disease in mulberry silkworms. The selected candidate will contribute to laboratory-based research activities aligned with fungal culturing and silkworm rearing studies as relevant to the project objectives. The role supports ongoing research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators until the project period.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Science/Life Sciences from a recognized college/University
- Desirable: 1st Class M.Sc in Agricultural Sciences/Life Sciences; Experience in fungal culturing and handling laboratories and silkworm rearing unit
- Age Limit: 35 Years as of the closing date of the advertisement (Relaxation applicable for OBC, SC, ST, etc. categories according to Government of India regulations)
Salary: Rs. 20000/- + HRA
