Key Responsibilities
- Lead shift quality operations in the plant.
- Ensure shift KPIs such as WIG, leakages, and zero red complaints.
- Ensure product quality through online quality control checks and finished product inspection.
- Implement quality control systems, standards, and process controls.
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimize wastage and maintain quality.
- Maintain GMP, GHK, GLP, and support internal and external audits (HACCP, AIB, Process Audit, Personal Hygiene).
- Train and develop quality checkers.
- Ensure quality of potatoes issued for production.
- Conduct cook tests, quality inspections, and analytical testing during production.
- Monitor process and packaging quality parameters and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform finished product inspections and packaging quality checks.
- Monitor equipment affecting product quality and ensure proper calibration.
- Maintain quality reports, records, and documentation.
- Conduct quality review meetings and coordinate corrective actions.
- Perform housekeeping audits and ensure hygiene and safety compliance.
- Manage hold materials and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to quality.
- Support customer complaint investigation and corrective action implementation.
- Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and document quality procedures, findings, and corrective actions.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Exposure to food safety systems and ISO systems.
- Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, AIB, and TPM is preferred.
