Educational Qualification
- Postgraduate degree in Nematology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Botany, or any relevant discipline of Life Sciences.
- OR
- Graduate degree in relevant Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, or Technology.
Desirable Qualification
- Experience in basic molecular techniques including nucleic acid isolation, PCR, plasmid isolation, restriction digestion, ligation, and molecular marker analysis.
- Experience in molecular cloning and recombinant vector development.
- Experience in genetic transformation of crops (preferably rice).
- Experience in development and analysis of transgenic plants.
- Experience in plant genome editing.
- Experience in plant tissue culture.
- Experience in nematode culturing.
- Scientific writing experience supported by publications.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 45 years
Emoluments: ₹42,000 per month (Fixed)
Duration
- Initially for up to 12 months from the date of engagement or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
- The engagement may be extended based on project extension, satisfactory performance, and work requirements.
- Unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination with one month’s notice.
Selection Process
