- Project Title: Identification of Crosstalk Between Mechanical Stimuli and Small GTPases to Enhance Aged Alveolar Macrophage Immunoefficiency
This Life Science Fellowship project focuses on the intersection of mechanobiology, cellular aging, lung immunology, and translational biomedical research. The research aims to investigate how mechanical forces regulate small GTPase signaling in aged alveolar macrophages and its implications for age-related lung diseases.
A unique feature of this BITS Pilani Careers opportunity is the possibility of close collaboration and research visits to IFOM (The AIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology), Milan, Italy, providing candidates with valuable international research exposure.
Fellowship Details
- ₹37,000 per month (Years 1–2)
- ₹42,000 per month (From Year 3)
- Additional 30% HRA as per the Government of India norms
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DST Indo-Italy Joint Research Program.

Qualifications

Experience
